Parking:

Parking on Friday, July 22, 2011

  • $7 for a half-day
  • $12 for a full day
  • Park in the ramp (lot 76) for $10, full day

Passes for lots 60, 76, or 85 can be purchased from the WARF building (map). Permits are given on a first come, first serve basis with approximately 50 spots for each of the above lots. The address and hours for the WARF building are as follows:

610 Walnut St. Madison , WI 53726
M-F, 7:15 am - 4:30 pm

Passes for Lot 60 (near the lake) and Lot 82 can be purchased at American Family Children's Hospital in room E004 at 1675 Highland Ave., 608-263-4003 (see the map).

Please observe parking signs about when weekend parking is restricted and where. Lot 60 and 82 should still be excellent places to park.

  1. South on I-90/94
  2. Take US 151/E. Washington Ave. exit heading south
  3. Follow E. Washington Ave. and turn right on E. Johnson St.
  4. E. Johnson St. becomes E. Gorham St.
  5. E. Gorham St. becomes W. Gorham St.
  6. W. Gorham St. merges into University Ave.
  7. Follow University Ave. and turn left onto Highland Ave.

Coming from the Northeast
Green Bay, Fox River Valley

  1. South on US 151
  2. US 151 becomes E. Washington Ave.
  3. Follow E. Washington Ave. and turn right on E. Johnson St.
  4. E. Johnson St. becomes E. Gorham St.
  5. E. Gorham St. becomes W. Gorham St.
  6. W. Gorham St. merges into University Ave.
  7. Follow University Ave. and turn left onto Highland Ave.

Milwaukee

  1. West on I-94
  2. I-94 becomes state highway 30
  3. Follow WI 30 and take the E. Washington Ave. exit

  1. North on I-90
  2. Take US 12/18 exit (US 12/18 is also called the Beltline)
  3. Exit onto Park St. north
  4. Continue down Park St.
  5. Turn left onto University Ave
  6. Slight right onto Campus Dr
  7. Take the Highland Ave exit toward UW. VA Hospitals
  8. Turn right onto Highland Ave

Coming from the Dane County Regional Airport

  1. Take International Ln. out of terminal
  2. Turn left onto Packers Ave.
  3. Packers Ave. will merge into E. Johnson St.
  4. E. Johnson St. becomes E. Gorham St.
  5. E. Gorham St. becomes W. Gorham St.
  6. W. Gorham St. merges into University Ave.
  7. Follow University Ave. and turn left onto Highland Ave.
