Node access control modules (and how you can replace most of them with TAC)

Drupal's node access system is powerful and flexible under the hood, but most site builders need node access control modules to harness it. Unfortunately, node access modules tend not to play well with others! In this session, I'll introduce the basics of node access control, share some tips and troubleshooting advice, and go through some of the most popular modules. I'll spend a bit of extra time on Taxonomy Access Control (TAC), a swiss army knife of access control that I once despised yet now maintain.

This session will cover both Drupal 6 and Drupal 7.
